Advantages of Own Branding for Suppliers:
Excess production capacity can be utilised
Own brands help absorb fixed costs
The retailer has an equal interest in selling the goods
Some warranty liabilities may transfer to the retailers
Disadvantages of Own Branding for Suppliers:
Advantages may be short-lived
Own brands may reduce sales of manufacturer's brands in the same store
Retailers may restrict display and promotion of manufacturer brands to emphasise own brands
Bargaining power is lost as the retailer can usually switch to alternative channels of supply
If anyone would like further examples of the advantages and disadvantages of supplying own brands for retailers, please let me know either via comments or email, and i would do my best to post them as soon as possible.

Hello ##NAME# #, just a quickish visit as my in-laws will be here in a mo'. Found you while looking for currency trading recommendation info. Haven't time for proper read of currency trading recommendation things so best if I bookmark just now and come back. Even if Own Branding (Part III) isn't what I really want, I always (mostly) enjoy reading blogs. (A visit from the in-laws always brings pleasure; if not in the arrival, then in the departure :-) )

Anything to do with currency trading platform I always look at, though I do have a tendency to wander about in blogs just reading generally.

With Own Branding (Part III) in mind, where would you place the emphasis? Sometimes it gets cloudy when you start into coach psychology personal growth and I for one can get confused. Would it be OK to juct pick up wherever you're at right now?
